Candidates must satisfy ONE of the following academic qualification requirements for IGNOU Ph.D. in Education course:
- MA(Education) or M.Ed. from a recognised university with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate.
- Candidates from SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/PwD/EWS categories: 5% relaxation (i.e., minimum 50% marks).
